Either by contacting our office at 780-471-6709 or click below to fill out our online application form. Volunteers will require an interview. References are required as well as a Child Welfare Record Check and clear Police Information Check.
Edmonton Women’s Shelter Ltd. recruits volunteers on an on-going basis for various positions. Please note that volunteers are not used in the shelters themselves for security reasons.
Special Events
Assists with Fundraising Events such as our annual Win FORE WIN golf tournament or Open House, you can also help with 3rd party fundraising events (as required).
Office Assistance
Assisting office employees with different tasks. This position is flexible to the availablity of the volunteer.
Donations Assistance
Assisting with sorting and organizing incoming donations. This position is flexible between the hours of 8:30-4:30 Monday – Thursday.
