Win House operates two emergency shelters and one second stage shelter. Last year, WIN House provided 12,188 nights of safety for women, non-binary individuals, and children. Ambassador
Our Ambassador Program is designed to amplify the voices of those experiencing gender-based violence. To be seen, heard, and celebrated as the CHAMPIONS they are.
We know more than 2 in 5 women (40%) will experience some form of intimate partner violence in their lifetime. Our Ambassadors play a key role in helping WIN House reach a wider audience, so people who need our services know how to access them, and people who want to support us know our needs. Below are some examples of the types of Ambassador engagements.

It is our policy not to facilitate volunteer opportunities in our shelters. A large part of this is due to the privacy and anonymity promised when our Champions come to WIN House. The Champions in our shelters are experiencing the most stressful moments in their lives, and seeing new faces everyday can feel unsafe and overwhelming.
Please know your volunteer efforts in other areas makes a huge difference, and the impact of your support contributes directly to our mission of furthering non-violent relationships and environments for individuals with or without children. Thank you for your understanding.
